Here is the idea. You knit a shawl based on one of the three patterns chosen with any nice quality yarn and bring to exchange at the meetup.

How they are exchanged is TBD (white elephant most likely)- No wrapping is required. Please bring yarn care tags & instructions

Cost: Pattern & Yarn should be approximately $30

Pattern 1-Hitchhiker by Martina Behm- Pattern is ~$4 on Ravelry
(is a very easy knit and easy to add your own flair to)

Pattern 2- Summerflies by Donna Griffin- Pattern is ~$1.85 on Ravelry.
(looks like a great summer shawl)

Pattern 3- Bitterroot by Rosemary (Romi) Hill- Pattern is free on Ravelry
(looks like the most complicated of the 3)
